Found this whilst surfing the internet a while back, and actually found it
quite scary in way... just makes you think how much information there is out
there right at our finger tips... and to think that it is growing at an
astronomical rate this very second that I type this blog entry - Happy

Balloon Shakers

Masayuki Kurokawa (1937) is an award winning architect and product designer,
whose work has won numerous honors worldwide. Traditionally, salt and pepper
shakers have one hole for pepper and three holes for salt and the container
is usually opaque so the contents inside can not be seen. Mr. Kurokawas
concept behind the Balloon Shakers was so you can see what's inside the
shaker as it can be used for not only salt and pepper, but all kinds of
seasonings. Hand-blown by Shotoku Glass Co., who originally created
lightbulbs in Japan, therefore creating a very thin (yet durable) glass

I'm at Sandton, over looking our favorite building that is almost finished! You can feel the warm summers air slowly drifting into the abyss of the setting sun on the horizon. Crispness brushes my face and i know i better be getting inside to my warm seattle cafe mocha and Polenta cake. I wish you were here! Miss you madly...

BERRYLICIOUS!

Here is the Recipe from, "The Good Food CookBook" – Ina Paarman.
Titled Berry Chocolate Tart with Pecan Crust!

Serves 6-8

CRUST
1 cup (100g) pecan nuts
10 Tennis biscuits
60 ml brown sugar
2.5 ml ground cinnamon
60 ml melted butter

FILLING
250 ml cream
200g Dark Chocolate, broken into squares
250g cherries or raspberries (THE BEST) or 500g strawberries.

Preheat oven 170°C. Chop pecan nuts and biscuits in blender/processor
until crumbed. Add sugar, cinnamon and melted butter. Pulse until
blended and moist clumps form. Press mixture up the sides and onto the
base of a 22cm fluted porcelain dish. Bake for 25 minutes until golden
and crispy. Leave to cool.
To make the filing, bring the cream just to the boil. Remove from heat
and pour slowly over the chocolate. Stir to melt the chocolate. Pour
the mixture into the baked crust. Leave to set overnight or for a good
full day (as I learnt it) in the fridge. Arrange the berries over the
top and serve... and PRESTO you have mouth watering-give-me-more-NOW
dessert!!!

Sitting by myself on this lonely winter's evening waiting for my take away pizza order! My love is in the east, and whats 'worse' is that its our 9 month anniversary today! Well at least i'm the happiest and luckiest guy in this world, and i thank Him everyday for the new life journey i am on, and whats greater is that it is with my love! O Happy Days

O Happy Days of fun in the sun at the corner of Angola & Munich Rd in Cosmo
City. Cosmo is a weirdly different approach to social housing, yet however I
do think it works... there are a few flaws, but I guess this is what the
study about social housing is... let's just hope that the next R3+ billion
investment is going to be more thought out... I think it's great that the
there are developments and corporations that are investing time and planning
a way out of our typical tin towns of the African continent. [visit

'GOOD TIMES'

Was looking through my photos of last year, and found this one... This is my
favourite! Me and my best friend Zipho. It's a great reminder of how my life
USED to be last year and my experience with substances - it was good whilst
it lasted but in the end, I guess everything happens for a reason! But the
photo still brings a smile to myself, of the sillies Zipho & I used to get
up to! Now my life is filled with textured happiness, and filled completely
with amazing new emotions I never knew existed! Now in the first time in my
life, I can truly say, "I LOVE MY LIFE". One must not forget about the
universe and other powers, which I am truly glad for. May the upcoming years
be filled with MORE quality, texture and Amazingly great times! [IGWT]

Exhausted

I'm sitting here at steer's middleburg, and feel like i want to die, the noise, lights and hustle & bustle are all too much for me. I'm so tired from having no sleep because of this project, but in the end i'm ecstatic cause i get to see the love of my life in a few :)

Horizontal bliss...

A warrior of light always keeps his heart free of any feelings of hatred.

When he goes into battle, he remembers what Christ said: 'Love your enemies.' And he obeys.

But he knows that the act of forgiveness does not mean that he must accept everything; a warrior cannot bow his head, for if he did he would lose sight of the horizon of his dreams.

He accepts that this opponents are there to test his valour, his persistence, his ability to make decisions. They force him to fight for his dreams.

It is the experience of battle that strengthens the warrior of light.
